I also got a replacement .223, a 1/8 twist Tikka Varmint. .223 has its place, its a good cheap round for target shooting & practice. Good for small game & varmints to some reasonable distances....

Hunted heaps at 5-600yds using 3-18vx6 and 3-15vx5 and I have just recently decided bugger it and will just use my 2-10vx5 from now on as it's all I need at that range and a bit lighter and more...
