Thanks for the offer its much appreciated in the times of short supply. I have managed to get a fairly decent amount of RWS magnum primers of another member so in the interests of working up a load...

I'll be keen on that, will work towards making that date free and creating other excuses for traveling south.

Right, so I just got back from the range and here's what I discovered. Even with a squeeky clean chamber the Hornady superformance 129gn SST's were showing pressure signs. Tight bolt lift and ejector...

Brand new rifle so carbon/copper buildup will not be the issue. Not the ammo because the milder Fiocchi was giving the same pressure signs. Good point regarding the edges of the ejector holes but the...

Oh Ok. I think there is more going on than that. Considering the hard tight to lift bolt and shots going wide of the group.

Yep I get that. solid consistent contact or no contact at all should work. But partial or variable contact would most likely cause accuracy issues.

The 143gn ELDX looks like THE Projectile for the 6.5 calibre. I shoot a 6.5 Creedmoor and use factory ammo. I have been mainly using the Hornady superformance 129gn SST. I recently bought a couple...

Yes it does. Squeeze the trigger on the trigger stick and the legs will extend to where they hit ground. So each leg can go to different extension length. Uneven ground is no problem.
