I would go for lightness and optic quality - therefore Swarovski (already got a few ticks in this thread). What is you budget? Only issue is your 30mm rings would not suit a Z3 3-9x36 but the scope...

I doubt vortex would have the glass required for your needs mate. Leupy or some euro glass :D HD5 are 1inch tube so new rings would be needed.

My pick would be a swaro 3-9x36, kahles 2-7x36 or a kahles 1.6-8x42 if you wanted something a little better in low light. Small, light weight, good quality glass scopes.
