Ditto what veitnamcam said. Also primers can end up flat (with moderate loads) if your cases are a bit floppy in the chamber – usually with new brass in a larger than spec chamber or often after...

The indicators are not really that complex. Here’s a situation that I have personally seen other shooters (plural events) up to – Hammering the bolt open with a block of wood. (On some rifles...

Yeah, MAE tend to get overlooked don't they? I have one also, an excellent highly efficient can if maybe a tad heavy. MAE probably focus more on their exporting. Found a complimentary reference...

Ha ha agree 100%. I think I detect Nathan Foster there somewhere in the back ground with "hold that fore end". It's all about repeating exactly the same hold shot for shot isn't it. :( Shot one...

Sorry Friwi, but as far as Truflite is concerned I will stick with my Shilens, Liljas, Bartleins which in most cases have ended up cheaper and superior than the local mans. Hardy excepted.

Have you tried a long drop tube? I have a home made drop tube about 500mm long and I can get around 1.5mm further settle (depending on powder) in a 284 sized case.
