About zimmer
Biography:
Long since given up hunting - too decrepit now.
Shot lots of deer, pigs, tahr, goats (lost count after around 1000), rabbits, possums, wild cattle.
Target shooter now mainly F Class.
Location:
Waikato
Interests:
Rifles old and new, reloading, computers, playing on my lathe, farming alpacas.
Occupation:
Not working, in constant leisure mode.

    When I used to use Sweets 7.62 Copper solvent (which I avoid like the plague now, Boretech or KG is the go) I used to flush out using meths of Brakleen. Followed by a decent gun oil.

    I see on TV1 this morning the Pol Ass Sec said that "firearm registration numbers" (he quickly corrected that to firearm serial numbers) would be collected at inspections to create a "registry"...

    Yep the tricounis were the bis. Virtually wore out one set in one weeks trip up the Godley. Probably most wear due to running down shingle slides. They bloody hurt when you raked your leg with them....
