Biography:
Long since given up hunting - too decrepit now.
Shot lots of deer, pigs, tahr, goats (lost count after around 1000), rabbits, possums, wild cattle.
Target shooter now mainly F Class.
Location:
Waikato
Interests:
Rifles old and new, reloading, computers, playing on my lathe, farming alpacas.
Occupation:
Not working, in constant leisure mode.

    Yes, but for what you're loading its doesn't really matter, working with the standard H20 capacity in QL will be quite fine, its not like you're loading on the ragged edge of pressure.

    Always clean after each outing, just a habit I got into. It is safe to leave them uncleaned for a while so long as there isn't to much moisture about or if they get a soaking. To much money tied up...

    A top candidate for a gun that can go forever without being cleaned, imo would be a Benelli inertia shotgun. m2 for example. In regards to rifle barrels. A person should not need to re-zero after...

    Sure its a sinner, I've burnt about 6 lbs of it last year in a Creedmoor and .308 I just love the price of it. I was just saying that the Greek stuff seems dirtier. Its no biggy as i poor boiling...

    Wont shimming the rear ring make it shoot higher ? Clamp the rifle so it cant move and check that the elevation adjustment is working as a first step.
