Yip, pinged a large 10 pt stag this weekend and velvet was hard as......some really nice stags about. He was in a group of 5 stags and freezer was empty so enough said

I swear by my wirehair x vizsla x lab, he's only 24 months but already a great pet as well as deer dog. Comes to work everyday no probs, hangs inside with the mrs no probs but does get easily over...
I just got a new Mathews HTR No Cam so will prob sell my Diamond Razor Edge if your interested....your a young fella so maybe you could pay it off or something ? will need to know your draw lenght...

Yeah Ive read that they dont shoot great groups esp when the barrel starts to get hot but 1st shot is usaully pretty good....Ive never had a 2 d shot at a deer in the bush lol

Im training my 2nd deer dog (GWP x Vizsla x Lab) and he's taking alot longer than my Vizsla bitch did
Find a area you want to get to know and go there as often as possible......learn the area inside and out and you'll produce venison eventually. This is my favorite time of year to hunt
