My main hunting mate has a pair. Really good glass and ranges things first click way further than you are likely to ever shoot. Reasonably compact for a range finding bino. He went from the zeiss...
Factory subs for 308 pretty easy to find these days. 308 way more versatile imo.

If he was loading in an environment that was warm with highish humidity then the powder and primers will absorb a bit of moisture due to amoumt of moisture in the air. Then when cases go into a cold...
Potentially a moisture issue thats caused part of the primer to corrode then has dried out again.

They have been pretty accurate but the jury is out on how they perform on game. Ill probably give them a bit more of a try but just the fact they are a very basic cup and core design means they tend...
Ok awesome feedback. Im just looking to get awayfrom the eldms and go to something designed specifically for game. I mainly shoot deer out to say 400m max. Never further. Ive always used a 168gn pill...
Cheers for the feedback. When you guys say perform better are you referring to accuracy or performance on game? Cheers

Gday team.
Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with the Barnes ttsx 168gn projectiles in a 308 win?
They seem really long and curious as to what it may do to the case capacity etc. ...
Allways appreciate your input grandpamac . Cheers. I have committed to a 1 in 7 so looking forward to seeing how it shoots.

Hi guys. Has anyone had any experience with a 1 in 7 twist .308 barrel? Probably 18 inches. Some subs but mostly 168gn and higher supersonic loads.
Thanks in advance.

IMO overbarrel 100%. Cant go too wrong with any on the market. DpT, Hardy or Gunworks probably most popular.

Ive got the version before the rain jacket. Its a bit shorter but made of the same stuff. Great jacket and really rugged. Well worth the money.

Yes thats correct. Have your main barrel set and then when you change barrels its a set number of clicks up/down left/right to set zero for 2nd barrel.

Thanks all for the feedback. Really appreciate it.
Cost depends on options etc but looking at $7k to start and goes up from there. That will get you carbon barrel and stock with a suppressor....
Nice rogers.270. Bit of wait i imagine. You played with one in the flesh?

Gday team.
Has anyone had any experience with the Hardy hybrid rifle system? Even just picked one up and had a look at one?
It interests me and its my birthday coming up so my wife cant say no....
Bush buck ones i find the best by miles. Good protection and water resistance, cant lose them and cheap aa chips. I use them on every scope i own.

Plus 1 for the inflateable mattress. Especially the down filled ones. Once you have spent a night on one you will never go back. I use a ratty 16 year old bag up thar hunting and am warm as toast...
Thanks very much guys. Much appreciated
