    How would that affect light transmission though?...

    How would that affect light transmission though? I would think the magnification and number of lenses/surfaces the light passes through is the main factor.

    But it is frustrating when you watch an animal...

    But it is frustrating when you watch an animal with your binos then swap to the rifle and its too dark to see it with the scope! :oh noes:
