I'm far from an expert but I find the locks are as individual as people. The biggest challenge is figuring out what each one likes, nothing worse than a purely tuned/functioning lock.

I suppose bows still work in the rain quite well at least, but don't write off the old flintlock she's filled my freezer more than once!
I do have a couple of bows, haven't used them for a few years. I've seen others do some impressive shooting with them but I was never much good myself.
Not overly keen on either of those things myself, though I'm a new aged guy so I don't judge others!
