I have now had a chance to play with my new Maxtoch H10r headlight ( thanks burtonator).
Very impressed with the output. Tad on the heavy side, but as it uses an 18650 battery, that is no big...

Can anyone tell me if the little C8 torchs are sequencial (sp), rather than a simple on/off.
I don't like the idea of having to keep clicking through high/low/strobe etc with a rifle mounted light....

Give the led lenser to someone you don't like, and get a C8 or Maxtoch. I have had lensers and they may as well not even be switched on when run next to the Maxtoch

I don't leave my Maxtoch switched on for any length of time other than what it takes to light up the target and squeeze the trigger.
Just use a decent head lamp to navigate and find eye shine.

Out of pure curiosity (nosey), is Our very own gadgetman the official nz based agent for service/repair on Maxtochs, or as I suspect, simply a bloody good bloke ?
