The AB computer programming is $200 the app should be $40. Hornady 4dof is free.
Your best bet is:
1. Confirm zero and muzzle velocity
2. Tall target test
3. Shoot as far as you can ~368m.

Considering you want to shoot animals out to 800, and there's approximately a 70% corilation between precision and the muzzle energy/rifle weight ratio. It might be counter productive.
2213sc. I tested both 2213sc and 2209 with 120gr and 130gr projectiles and found it to be more precise.
This is worth a read:
Sierra Inclined-fire
Just above 9 o'clock head on. And in the centre right to left for the side on.
The rifle is a Sako 75, IV action.
It doesn't missfire, and the impression on the primer looks normal. Although this is on fire formed cases (bumped ~0.002"), I haven't tried it on new cases.
While cleaning my bolt, I noticed the firing pin holder is cracked.
If you look at the left of the picture, it runs down the side, across the face to the pin.
Is this a safety issue or just going...
3 shots to foul. Then round robin for the ladder, no cleaning. When looking at velocity it will take 100-200 shots to stabilise (according to Applied Ballistics), so you may want to err on the side...
Growlybear it's just resting your hand on top of the scope. In theory it reduces some of the movement from breathing, and consistently settles the rifle into the bag. Which may help with first round...
I did some more shooting the other day got the following groups.
Scope hold:
240461
Forend hold:
240462
Bag hold:
240463
Both of these groups are 10 shots at 35m. Each ring is 1MOA. The targets were shot off a front rest and rear bag.
This one was shot squeezing the rear bag. The recoil lifted the reticle...
Is this the brass forming process for a Weatherby wildcat?
Zeiss Conquest V4 4x16x44 or 4-16x50.
Not European, may be a bit heavy?

How many are still not sighted in?
Just a couple of points for comparing different calibres:
Unless you are going to use Maximum Point Blank Range, don't compair bullet drop. Use danger space instead:
Let's say the deer is at 400m...
A 308 is around 165dB at the muzzle, good ear pro will reduce it about 25dB (look at the SLC80 rating). That's still ~140dB, and a suppressor is significantly cheaper than hearing aids.
I ignored 2225 because it's a compressed load. And went with 200gr for the 308 because it's a scaled up 270 145gr:
145x(308/277)^3 = 199gr
2225 in a long throated 270 would be a hoot though.
Some rough MAXIMUM numbers from GRT both in a 17" barrel, and using 2209 for a full burn:
270win 145gr eldx ~4gr more powder ~2740fps.
6.5 PRC 143gr eldx ~2700fps
The equivalent 308 load would...
n = number of expected animals.
Total rounds = (n+1) x 2
For hunting I normally bring 8 + 1 snap cap (to keep junk out of the chamber) because that's what fits in the case.
What diameter do both of them measure?
With the CIP max pressure of 55,100psi. ~2750fps with a 23" barrel, 140gr projectile, and single base powders like AR2209.
3" of barrel is ~100fps unless you're shorter than 20".
-10gr of...
Don't discount Amazon. I got a Bushnell for significantly cheaper through them.
Also overspecing your rangefinder is good. Max ranges are based on reflective targets and animals will be...
Work out your minimum acceptable impact velocity and energy. Pull out your ballistic calculator and see what range that gives you under hunting conditions. Then you will know if you need to change...
