As above. How does it shoot? Have you had a drop in velocity?
Cool toy but can cause more worry than needed.

I think things need to be taken into consideration, this video was taken mid winter when red deer tend to mob up in suitable areas.
What about something small and efficient like 6x45 or 6mm 204/222rem mag.
Once I have finished my 6.5 Grendel build I will be researching the 25 SPC.
Try sport conrad, i got my last two pairs from them.
I used 63gr sierra, 62 gr barnes and 70gr speer in mine.
I found with a 1-8 barrel that i would have issues with pressure spikes if i pushed velocities to much.
I mainly used AR2206 and then...
I have used 70 gr match king, 75 grain v max,75gr sierra hp, 80gr nosler ballistic tip and 85gr sierra hp. The 80gr ballistic tip is by far the best performer on game.
Fly into mistake flat. Lots of hunting options from there.
The blue mountains offer some of the hardest deer hunting in the country. Well done on your first deer on the mountain.
I wouldn't be that impressed if i had payed for that work especially the ground out material at the tang.
Once it sees you it knows something is there but can’t quite figure it out. Well done on the filming.
I shoot a 168 Berger and use 59 gr of 2209.
I have caught a few like that around Manapouri, some were half tails others less so.
I had an 18 inch 1-9 twist barrel 222 on a BSA mini action for a while. I could push a 55 gr at 3055fps, unfortunately it didn’t like lighter projectiles. It shot the 70 gr Speer amazingly well...
Good man, well done on your first.
If they perform as well as the Berger 155gr they will be fantastic.
I have one in 308 I hand load for it and use 150gr set, my aim was to replicate the hornady factory load.
It can shoot MOA out to 500yds if I do my bit correctly. It certainly is a well put...
Not far from where they were filming.
From what I understand a group of local run holders have funded the culling, they have been doing it for years with geese.
It looks like deer and pigs have been targeted.
I just found out yesterday that there was a bit of search and destroy in the Manuhurikea catchment in the winter. Has the whole of Oteake been done as well?
If anyone has more information can you...
I was just talking to one of ammunition suppliers today and his suggestion was if you can’t get ammo for your gun now sell it quick and buy a 308 or 270.
My thoughts are 7mm 08 ammo is going to be...
At least one GWP and my Swazi gerkin
Your salt sugar brine sounds like a great idea. How much water do you put in with the salt and sugar? Do you boil it or just stir in ?
When I had my change of address inspection I had two police women come and check my set up, one of them demanded I take all my guns out so they could record serial numbers I refused and told them...
I have got it down to 17kg for 10 days chasing wapiti. That weight didn’t count rifle or binoculars.
You should be able to get down to 20 kg fairly easily for five days tops hunting.
Send me a pm...

Venison sauerbraten. Not bad considering five days prior it was a rutted up red stag
