    Shooting fallow does is not the same a Sambar...

    Shooting fallow does is not the same a Sambar Stags.
    Average live weights of male deer. These are the numbers I have.

    Fallow 60 -70kg
    Reds 200kg
    Sambar 260kg up to 300kg.

    TBH Rees I think its a bit light on for sambar. 150gr doing 2100fps is only about same as 30.30.

    The 30.30 was the minimum permitted for many years in Vic and justifiably so. (Min 2" case rule)
