Yep, a hot 7mm RM using 162g projectiles is actually very hard to beat.

I’ve seen a few with 26” match barrels get to 3100.

All with 2225.

73g of 2225.

Actually after my barrel wore in the speed increased from 3122 to 3200fps and I had to take a grain of powder out.

I still didn’t get pressure...

Mate personally I’d be taking full advantage of the benefits in having a magnum caliber.
