No I prime a lot of my brass this way 577/450, 500 BPE, 577 snider and I haven't had a prob so far, have certainly screwed some primers doing the 45/70 using the proper tool. :cool:

I load BP for it I shoot a lead projectile, I hate owning an unreliable rifle, but it's a nice gun!
