After several enquiries a DoC permit arrived in the mail today, in the "special conditions" box- "permitted shotgun use with buck shot or solids":cool:

If its a "shotgun" with a rifled barrel it primary purpose is not firing shot cartridges.

I always wondered if using rifled slugs would be an exception, but I'd expect they had buck shot? Just out of interest why are shotguns and rimfires not allowed on doc land?
