    Most AR's that I've owned/handled, and AK's, once...

    Most AR's that I've owned/handled, and AK's, once you add optics, are heavier than many bolt actions.

    What do you define as "lightweight" AR? 2.5kg, 3.5kg? Can be A or E, I'm not fussy :-)

    AR15 Alternatives?

    I don't like AR15's. Nothing in particular, they just don't do anything for me!

    I'd like a lightweight semi auto in .223 with the emphasis on "light".

    Not looking for a sh*tfight but all...
