    If the rifle shoots well as is, I wouldn't bother...

    If the rifle shoots well as is, I wouldn't bother getting it bedded. I've seen a few good rifles turn to shit becuase the owners wanted them bedded. I'd personally only try bedding if it didn't shoot...
