Where does everyone get their smoke in a bottle refills? Would like to buy in bulk instead of buying a new bottle every couple of hunts.

Thanks guys, Tried a few different things with it now. I cant say I like the flesh as much as say..Snapper or even a Kahawai but its good to have on the BBQ over summer with a few mates and a beer...

Hey oljamesboy get in touch with the Doc office down there I found them to be very helpful with putting me onto areas where there are animals.
Amazing place alright. I was there in July, while they were still in velvet. Well worth spending the day there if your a hunter ah! Awesome pic of that stag in the fern mate :cool:

DOC has a new track flagged to the Oamaru hut that doesn't pass through the Tongariro Aviation block. I was in a month ago, the new track still hasn't been cut but access across the Tongariro...

Isnt the gutted weight the only kind of weight measurement for a comp? I imagine the dogs would have had there work cut out for them, Maybe not as much as the guy carrying it tho ;) might have been...
