Plus if fired in an AR, the locking lugs and feed ramp always put big scratches on the case necks, which eventually turn into splits all the way through.

Anneal those necks. Mind you, I had FC .223...
Anneal those necks.
Mind you, I had FC .223 cases that still split after 2-3 fires and being annealed each time.
