No! it could exist in some of the show lines but I haven;t much to do with them. Not an issue, from my experience in the working lines.
Completely rooted.

:) The problem with that can be as they get fitter you have to let them out earlier and earlier... in the end you just open the kennel and meet them at the parking point! :pacman:
To a degree with Labs, some of those Labs now bred to be so heavy as to resemble a small Rottweiller will have this issue regardless of fitness. The more Athletic English working type it's not so...
Unfortunately very few are breeding for these traits. Some are trying to but realistically if they are not hunting the quarry you want over their dogs themselves it is very possible they do not even...
Never said it wasn't an international trait caused by the same international people. :D
Whatever positivity you can add to the mix is accepted... Love to hear of all your GSP kennels with perfect dogs or do you just want to slag me off???
I can recommend best bets with no guarantee... another breed fucked up by the "my dog is prettier than your dog" brigade... and to think some people who pretend to be about working dogs actually...
Ignore him... he's gay and wears tweed... :)
I had one that was a world beater... but seriously, you still want to know the ins and outs of the parents... a cross breed with faults is just a cheaper version of a pedigree with faults....
The main fault in GSP's these days is incessant whining that is primarily genetic and almost impossible to train out.
Getting harder and harder to find good working blood... Broadbent is producing...
All I can say is do your research and be very very careful.
