Working up a new load due to the unavailability of the 77gr Sierra, who's using the 80gr eld-m in their 223 and what recipe have you had the most success with.

Took this yearling last week, shot with a 77gr at 200m. They sure do damage if you forget to shoot neck or head [emoji23]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220710/5575c1a9aeef1cb7a5a7d313c22acbb9.jpg...
Another one for the mighty 223, this yearling look bigger from about 250m away because I didn't have anything to reference it against. Will taste delicious though.

Pretty good going getting a flying hare :)
Awesome looking dogs mate.
Might have to roadtrip up to the Naki  coastal sounds like good fun.
Yea it is, crossed with a standard vizsla but has thrown looks wise to the wirehair. Goes really well alot hardier then a standard vizsla and hunts well.
That's a good initiative, in fairness they do something similar in the Manawatu with forestry blocks.
I haven't caught a live pheasant yet but have had some very close calls, there have been a number of live pukeko captures which offers great entertainment, bloody little ginger thing is keener of...

Thanks mate, she works at a heel mostly on deer doesn't range further then probably 5 meters. She started primarily on deer until we had a few together then moved on from that. They some how know...
I get my 150gr Hornady SST loads from Belmont, they are about half the price of factory ammo and I've had no issues with them what so ever. You can barely reload them yourself for that price.
