    OK, thats helpful.
    Ive seen some ridiculously large scopes on some .22s that look way to big for the jolly thing.
    I had been looking at variable scopes, but I guess there is no harm in using this...

    Niko Stirling Silver Crown scope - worth using on a .22?

    I got a spare one of these that I had used on an air rifle some years ago, but removed it because I found it pointless being so low powered, its magnification is 4x32.
    I was thinking of throwing it...
