I'm using another two and a bit grains of 2217 compared to 2225 for a load.
I think you will find that your 1:9.5"twist is tight enough for the 168 berger. But not quick enough for the 180s

Like distant stalker said. The 2225 powder is better with the heavier projectiles or already that's what I have found.
I have a 7/300wsm (different obviously, but very similar in internal...
I would have thought that 2225 behind a 180gn Berger would be a good start.
I'm using 2225 with a 180gn hybrid VLD Berger. But also have a load of 2217 with similar speed.
