Update: I went into the bush for three days.
Bush bashed pretty hard. Stock got wet & very cold. Paint job held up really well, with no signs of wear.

The moment you peel the painters tape off and see the clean lines was certainly a satisfying moment.
Waiting for the coats to dry sufficiently took some serious self control.
Did this over a week.
Came up pretty well.
Will see how it lasts with a bit of abuse.
