    50USD seems to be the standard cost for shipping...

    50USD seems to be the standard cost for shipping a scope.
    I think its due to the weight range and size of box makes it a set cost with USPS.

    If it costs under 400NZD you wont have to pay GST, but...

    No permit is required for scopes or rings.
    I have bought rings from Natchez Shooter Supplies and The Rifle Scope Store and a scope from Natchez with no problems.

    Some shops wont ship...
