Dry would be best if you can.
Skins would be ideal.
Hi guys. Hoping someone might be interested in doing a bit of a swap of some possum fur for some fly fishing gear. I'm after about four or five pelts for fly tying and have a warehouse full of gear...
You wouldn't happen to have a copy of the map you could upload for me please?
Results are live now. Our party pulled block 6, anyone have a map from one of the last couple of years I could check out? Had block 8 and block 4 in the past so happy to share info.
Switching up the loads and have about 50-60 loaded rounds of Amax's I'm going to pull, if anyone has a quantity of 120gr BT's that they would like to swap it would be very handy indeed.
I was under the impression it was around the 35lb mark, interested to see what others think.
Love that spot, know some of those views well.
It's already been said by everyone above but I'm very happy with my 04 model. Nice and comfortable for doing the long k's to the fishing / hunting spots but not precious when the road gets a bit...
I've got the Greywackes too, been good for me in the Central N.I for the last couple of years and I haven't treated them particularly well. That said, boots will always be a bit of a conundrum for me...
Another for the Absolute Wilderness, the portion sizes might be a bit small for some but they're bang on for me and I managed to get through ten days of them without ending up hating them. Struggle...
Will watch with interest. I've been using my Weber for bits and pieces out to 6hrs but would like a tall cold smoker for hanging fish and meat for very long periods of time.
Fun times!

A new knife a friend made for me, blank blade with a handle made from a recycled skateboard. He's made some pretty cool knives this way.

Was in the Oamaru over the weekend, was super busy with hunters everywhere so I didn't do as much hunting as normal but did a lot more fishing which more than made up for it. Ended up with 17 to the...
Very jealous of you having water like that in your backyard!
I bought mine in from Gun Emporium in Melbourne for about $550 from memory. You can get them a bit cheaper from the US but it was quicker ex Aus and no potential issues with duties / GST etc. Optics...
Vortex Optics - Diamondback HP 3-12x42 Dead-Hold BDC
I picked up one of these a few weeks ago which might suit your brief. 42mm gives a touch wider FOV, ballistic reticle for playing around on...
Helisika don't allow it, part of the rules when you're signing your life away before you fly. Just a heads up. 22's, like you say, are fine however.
It's well marked so you can easily walk it at night with a headlamp on. That way you have a full day to hunt. Up early, shoot something, pack it out and back home in time to do the lawns!
Ah gotya.
This is the one I went for....seems pretty standard to me? Apart from the cat. What do you mean by kiwi hunter type out of interest?

I recently bought one in from Mountain Tactical Company, home of The Tikka Performance Center without any hassles at all.
What's access like to the river? Fishing is good in there.
