Well, that came out larger than expected. First roe shot 8th May, .222 Tikka did the trick nicely. Steaks, mince, casserole bits in the freezer, and jerky prepared and dried:thumbsup:

Tjena Sidelock!
Haven't been on the Swedish forum too much, good surprise to see you on the forum here and that you made the move, good stuff!!
I'm nearly done with Jägarexamen, should be done...
Welcome!! Hang around here long enough and you're guaranteed a laugh or six. Feel free to post some pics of your local areas/animals. You seem to speak pretty good English by the way.
It had quite the bunghole to, even before it was interfered with....

A few shots of the recent beaver hunting. Flavour is magic, could probably be likened to venison.
Got a photo? I'm intrigued.
Will do. Those lure photos were the ones that went wrong a few posts ago. I'll post some better ones, including step by step.

Some of me home-fashioned lures.
Ba ha ha ha ha!! No, surprisingly enough, fox is not eaten here, but me mate reckons he likes to throw beaver on the BBQ. We shot one beaver a couple of nights after dropping the fox, but due to snow...

Ah, roger, how do I fix that I wonder....
Good on ya, so was it a small fellow or a small fallow?
Roe bucks are back in season May 1st, I'm a few hours north of Wallin, but fingers crossed we'll both have some luck.... I'll post results on my thread, The North. Got 3500 hectares to cover....
Did they die from drinking that Lion Brown, or did you make a beer batter?:P
Ha ha, roger that. Taking my FA licence over here and pointing it up is what is being taught as the safest direction.
How about up?
Welcome, you'll find some real characters here. Why not biff up a pic of the crappy 22? I'm taking possession of a 9.3x57 soon which should get a few laughs.
If anyone here is overseas and stumbles across anything made by Fjäll Räven, a Swedish brand, give it a second look. I've mentioned the brand before on here, they use a fabric called G1000 which is...
I thought the Nikkon 3-9x40 was the 'come with everything' scope. Happy with mine, a measly $400 worth. Goes all right. Next one will be a Zeiss though.
Ha ha!!
Smashing it!!
F-ing sweet. Miss my T3....
Why is the 260 better than 6.5x55? I'm looking at a 6.5 for roe deer and moose over here, seems to be the done thing. An explanation in layman's terms would be appreciated if you have a second....
