Shot some more loads yest-
No velocity increase past 60g of RL26.Happy with these figures for 60g.
Lightly flat primers- hardly noticeable- no other pressure signs at all.

So finally got to chrono some loads-with 162 eldx-A Bolt rifle- 1/10 twist 22 inch barrel- 59.5g of rl26 gives me an ave of 2869 zero pressure . New Norma brass. Pretty happy.+/- 12fps spread. .2g...

rl26? oh thats not bad then.

I know I know- the 7mmrm is not mine- im happy with 280- killed 4 deer out to 450 :), just not happy with lack of rl26 :)

anyone tried ar2225 in 280 or ai? Need to load for 7mmrm soon, and RL26 is blardy scarce still................

280rem Browning A Bolt- 162eldx over RL26.

3 shots averaged.

56.5g-2750fps 75fps between highest and lowest. 1...
