Anyone actually got a S&L Legacy .223? What OAL does the mag allow?
No I’m idly considering the ideal of making a semi-weight fast-twist .223 as a home for my PMII and for LR futzing, probably
just using a full-size used Howa short action from somewhere + Wilddog...
None of the Sakos I’ve had have done that, even with rails on top over the ejection port
Could be wrong, who knows. I’m getting old and forgetful
I... don’t remember documenting that. Aside from posting misc gunsmith cockups
How’s the tolerances on Barnard for field use?
that weight can't be accurate, my .260 Finnlight weighs 2.6kg and it's got an 800gm plastic stock & a M action
yeah hence the second edit
that's roughly what I had in mind actually
they don't come in .223
e: if they did, it would be probably a good idea
double e: turns out they do now, cool. but I'm not buying one.
not at all
my whatnow?
to get a custom .223, clearly
have you seen a savage? horrid
probably the smartest idea
I've had a severe head injury probably, or something
edited, whatever .223 boltface is
Generally my experience with custom rifles has been that they cost a lot, don't work properly and are never entirely satisfactory, yes.
Who can get what, with a 223 boltface? PM me info/price/etc
