Braid is by far the best option as main line. Just make sure you spool it on correctly.

Not sure if this is relevant to what you are doing but to quote NZ Hunter (the Duleys), when referring to the 2.4-12x Z5,

Depends on the fish. Some are primarily sight feeders (kingfish) and some are 99% sent feeders (spiny dog fish). So if you want to catch dogfish definitely put oil on your lures.:)

What barrel length and velocity are you getting with the 6mmCM.
