Relative term I guess but I was happy with the price.
I just sent him the stripped barrelled action and it was $135 all up.

I know nothing about the technicalities of coating metals but I assume there are other industries that do it on a regular basis with no problems. I can't imagine a rifle is anything...

Ok. What are you planning on doing it on?
In case of a F***up is the etch primer and paint easily removable?

Bit of a hijack (sorry Gibo) but does anyone know of a DIY metal paint (an aerosol) that would do the job?
