Maybe if you spend your time flying in you have weight to save. Walk in - it has multiple positive benefits...
Hit the nail on the head. Capable of carrying a heavy rifle, but what's the point when (within reason) a lightweight rifle will do the same job and you are on a long trip.
Just another way to enjoy hunting buddy. I have both heavy and light rifles and there is a perverse pleasure in going lighter: don't knock it 'till you try it haha.
Thanks....I agree.
But that's not the question. I would sooner spend money on gear than getting a chopper ride and a pleasant side effect of walking everywhere is a decent level of fitness:cool:
Nice rig!!
The only way to give a woodland creature a better chance is to stay at home...not on my watch.:O_O:
Thanks - confirms what I thought. Stock upgrade is a little pricey at the moment so it's going to be a case of suck it up & keep carrying it up!!
Greetings all, I'm giving some thought to fluting and lightening the bolt on my Rem Mod 7. It is suppressed, and already has a forward weight bias - is the weight off the bolt going to exaggerate...
