The R8 fits better than the R93 & the removable mag / trigger is really handy.... however the R8 is a sumo wrestler compared to the R93 in the weight department. Blaser need to offer their rifles...

Ironically he's looking at carbon stock options now for the R8. I prefer the R8 detachable magazine......but the weight I can't live with unless armchair hunting.

My R93 loaded, slung, bipod, suppressor feels like it weighs the same as his R8 without all that shit on!

I had the opportunity to spend a day hunting with a mates R8. By the end of the day I was ready to throw it down a bank! Cool engineering but way too heavy. I now own an R93 with Christensen Carbon...
