winaa Some (maybe all?) Macpac tents have to be seam sealed and they supply a tube of sealant with the tent.

My cattle dog X gets a fair bit of hill time on the Nth Canterbury tops and although she has got tough pads, if it's a big long day on mainly rocks/scree it's pretty hard on those pads!
The Cascades are pretty nice packs. I have a 65L and the 75L would probably be better on a 3-4 day hunting trip.
Another nice thing with the Cascades is if needed you can swap out the shoulder...
