Kiko rd is a bit different now, bit more over grown, many of the reds that were around and were easier to hunt have been poisoned or shot so the clearings have all but disappeared.

Need to replace my old boots, has any one found some nice lite weight boots suitable for sneaking around in the dry for the old weirly sika stags?

Picked up an sighted in my new Sako yesterday. We fitted a VX5 2X7 HD scope, bore sighted and headed off to the range.

First rifle I've owned that I didn't have to make any adjustments to get it...

Tragic stuff, one of the reasons I don,t go hunting on Easter. Trouble is from now on you have it in the back of your mind some one may have a scope on you!

Will be pretty busy like a lot of places, plenty of tracks around, get away from them though and wear blaze of some sort. Piro Piro pretty easy to find you way around.

Blue blaze hat for me, had orange but could be mistaken for a red deer for the inexperienced, no blue in the bush so a hunter would have to be shooting at movement if they saw blue.

Pity such nice spots are accessible by 4 wheel drives, plaged by spot lighters ( highly illegal in there) and un sportsman like in my opinion, huts abused by the public.
