    Res, I've owned both Z6 and VX6 and couldn't tell...

    Res, I've owned both Z6 and VX6 and couldn't tell much difference. The VX6 is quite a step up from the VX3 optically and the Leupold Fire Dot system is superior IMHO to any other illumination system...

    I think for about a third of the price a Leupold...

    I think for about a third of the price a Leupold VX-6 1-6, with or without the illuminated reticle, is a lot better value than a Z6i. Not too much difference optically either.
