    I get 2840 fps with 80 gr A-Max from my Savage...

    I get 2840 fps with 80 gr A-Max from my Savage Model 12 .223, 1:7 twist 26" barrel.
    24.7 gr 2208 in Norma cases.

    Could squeeze more 2208 in, but this is a safe load shooting out to 1000 yards.
