Just shoot suppressed....
But get your dog use to the gunshots and you won't have any issues.
My GWP was 11 and had thousands of suppressed rounds put over him

I'm running talley mediums with both a VX5 and VX6, the cheek weld works best for me there
I'm using the 230gr berger hybrids and 230gr Atips in my 300PRC, taken a few goats and fallow out to 775meters with the 230gr bergers, they work well.
No game taken with the atips as yet.
Mate runs...
I was using an 18inch 7mm08 and would regularly take fallow and goats out to 600 meters with the 162gr Amax.
I think the 120gr and 139gr sst would be OK out to 350ish meters.
Inside 500meters, all you need is a 7mm08 but don't look past the 6.5creed either. There is more factory ammo avaliable.
I've got a 7mmRemMag as well as numerous other 7mm rifles, it hardly gets...
Wilsons sports in wanganui has had a few savages chambered In 7mmPRC
Nosler 120bt and barnes ttsx work well.
I'm currently using the speer 130gr hot-cors in my 7mm bushpig atm
Just loaded up 30 rounds of 7mmRM with 162gr Amax to do a seating depth and primer test.
Loaded 25 rounds 6XC with 115gr Dtacs for a ladder test.
Loaded 50 rounds 7mm creed with 130gr Speers for...
I'm running x2 T3 terminators, x1 APW tuner brake and a dpt directional brake.
The T3 and APW are the best for recoil reduction.
Want to get my hands on a tmb brake.
I run talleys on most of my hunting tikkas,
Rail and rings on my comps rifle, but not needed for majority of hunting rifles.
Works a treat
sierra has a min load of 35gr 2208 and a max load of 37.4gr
6.5PRC or 7mmRM
Well I definitely know both my bravo and xrs chassis are considerably heavier than my factory tikka wood stock.
So, definitely making a hunting rifle, alot heavier than it needs to be. The factory...
So for a hunting rifle, you have a heavy one. Which uses a magazine that constructs the 7mm08 case with the 162gr back to a true short action.
Without achieving what the OP was wanting.
Or have I...
I just fitted a long action bolt stop and magazine to mine. Ran the 162gr @2530fps, no feeding issues at all. Put close to 4k rounds down it before I rebarreled
Still smacked steel at 1000meters...
To be honest, just pick one and run with it.
You won't find much difference in performance on game with the right projectiles, imo.
6.5 creed has the benefit of a greater selection of factory ammo....
258 meters on a fallow buck with my 223
223 and factory 55gr sp......all bases covered.
I run x2 titans 5-25 on my centerfire comp rifles anx a helix 4-16 on my rimfire.
In its price range the Titan punches above its weight.
Perfect for inside 1000meters.
I've got 2 of them in 223 and 7mmRM.
Big fan of the factory trigger, rate them on par with my tikkas.if not slightly better
Wouldn't hesitate in buying another
This is an epic shoot for those milsurp rifles.
I'm running mdt, Element and burris signiture xtr rings in 34mm.
No issues with any of them. All are medium height as well.
Yeah, they are normally placed on trade me
2209 aka h4350 just goes so well in 270
I'm more of a open country hunter as opposed to a bush hunter, so very confident at longer range shots.
Cheers for the info, the guys that are coming in with me are more bush hunters.
