22.250 uses same mag as a 243/308/6.5Cr, i.e a standard short action.

Yes, found the 22.250 ideal for fallow. 1:10 twist Ruger American, 69gr TMK. Way better than a 223, but not blasting big holes in them like 243, 6.5', 308, 270's.
