    Yes; But; apply bullets other than the "old" style bullets and powders and things change IMO. I like both.

    Love the 6.5*55 but a .308win sending a 165...

    Love the 6.5*55 but a .308win sending a 165 grain at 2750fps is something to be reckoned with for NZ hunting, as is 30-06 and 180gn at 2700,and still under 3/4 moa.
