If the zl2 dial has a button on it it will do a second rotation. Additionally one may shim under the rear mount or even go the 10 or 20 moa rail way.
I looked up the specs on leupold website. The vx3i 3.3-10 duplex has elevation range of 52 moa; which is heaps.
