Set my strike eagle up today and zeroed.
Pretty impressed with it all round to be fair. Good glass. Great reticle and eye relief.
I shot a 3 gun stage we did yesty, again today. (Different scope)...
Hopefully my strike eagle will be home when I get there.
Not spending ridiculous money on a cantilever mount either.

My point was we used inferior optics compared to other nations and kept up with them. So was trying to see...
When we shot in comps against other Armies we shot the Styer out to 500 with 1× optics. We kept up with the poms using 4x optics on their SA-80 and the yanks when I first shot against them used...
No. Off a mate back home that is getting them in. Decided to buy local.
Optics planet does have them way cheaper but I have never used them before and if I have issues with it I have local backup.

Just heard the strike eagle may be later arriving in Nz again
I haven't paid for it yet but told it will be around $800.
Buying it with some other stuff.

I have ordered a strike eagle having never seen one up close.
It is reasonably priced and was told august before any available in NZ.
Not something I would normally do but way cheaper than the HD...
