    Maybe if you had a 1:8" 22-250 it might come...

    Maybe if you had a 1:8" 22-250 it might come close. However pushing a 105gr over 3000fps packs a lot more punch than a 22-250.
    Mine is 18.5" and is doing 2880 fps with the 105s. Shot well over 100...

    .243 will be perfect. I use one as my night...

    .243 will be perfect.
    I use one as my night culling rifle. Went with .243 as I have far less chance of losing sight picture when I shoot. Mine is 18.5" and mostly use 105gr targex and reloder 26....
