Padox , how have you managed to end up with dead Marlin 17's ? , mine has done a heap of work and is still working great and accurate as hell.

17HMR, 4 - 12 x scope, 0 - 130 mtrs just point and shoot, out to 200 with small adjustments.
Marlin 17 HMR bolt action, very accurate and love to shoot with dirty bores so not a lot of cleaning...
