Spitfire, why do you want to shoot a super high BC bullet ? If your rifle is for hunting then in all reality the 270 is a 400 metre gun to still have 1400 - 1500 FP energy at that range.

The reason for the lower BC bullets is that the vast majority of 270's are 1 in 10 twist so anything more than 140gr is borderline to stableise
