His bedding kits turn out a superb job. I don't think he would make them if he wasn't interested in accuracy and consistent repeatable results - just saying
I agree, Nathan is all about hunting and field work. What Nathan emphasizes is to 'be consistent'. More than 50% of the animals I have taken have been offhand shots, so I have to hold the forend....
Stock shape and weight make a big difference. Some rifles can be shot really well with a single hand hold, but ALL rifle shapes and weights can be shot well with a solid fore end grip
Nathan is all about hunting and the fore end grip is used on the range because it is also used in every field position and he is after repeatable results in the field. Just the same as a target...
dont discount the problem being a weird scope error. I have seen this 'blame the rifle' trap befall very experienced shooters. Perhaps someone can lend you a proven target scope for a range session....
There could be an oddball factor like the mounts being out of line with the bore and then a parallax error at 200 - make sure everything is straight and in line as well as the other checks
