not a huge issue if it does close on a nogo guage as long as you reload,and dont shoot factory loads...you just have a .308 and a bit..a nearly 30/06 if you take it to extreme and reem it another mm...

sacrifice that case,run the hacksaw right down through it so we/you can see the area around the shoulder in discussion...PLEASE.
