they are resold...had friend in Dunedin who got paid out for just that senario only 2-3 years ago..he bought car back at much lower price than paid out...gave it a good clean up,replaced carpets etc...

there were huge piles of stuff out on kerbside that was all going into landfill...unless you know something I dont know and its going to all be sifted through.

so how nd where will all these flood water emerged cars be disposed of is more to the point?????
if wreckers get hold of them the parts will fly far n wide ,the issues will spread. panel beaters...
